Kapitel 8 – Rumfang
Opstartsøvelse
Vi afprøver lige først en øvelse af Pernille Pind .
Rumfangsøvelse
Besøg denne hjemmeside , og test hvor god din egen fornemmelse for rumfang er.
Hvor højt kommer væsken til at stå, når du hælder (“pour”) den over i den anden beholder?
Prøv at lave en formel for hver af de fire situationer, som I lige har afprøvet på NLVM, der kan benyttes til at beregne, hvor højt væsken kommer til at stå efter omhældning.
Værksted 1. – Cavalieris princip (s. 147)
Forklar princippet og lav illustrationer af det med fx bøger, spillekort eller mønter.
Lav et par tegninger, der viser hvordan man kan benytte princippet til fx at finde rumfanget af et skævt prisme eller en skæv cylinder ud fra rumfanget af den tilsvarende rette cylinder eller prisme. (se fx figur 3 – )
Forstå argumentet, der leder frem til en formel for rumfanget af en cylinder .
Tænk på ting fra den virkelige verden, hvor princippet kan komme i anvendelse, når man skal bestemme rumfanget af en konkret genstand. Find billeder, der viser dine anvendelser.

Værksted 2. Pyramider og kegler

Dette er et videoklip til dette værksted.
Rumfanget af en Pyramide er givet ved formlen 1/3hG , hvor G er grundfladens areal, og h er pyramidens højde. Formlen kan på “smuk” vis eftervises for en konkret type af pyramider, hvor grundfladen er kvadratisk med sidelængde s, og højden er 1/2 s.
Idé: 6 kopier af pyramiden foldes sammen til en terning.
Idé: Pyramiden skæres op i fire ens dele, hvoraf de tre kan samles til en kasse (vi har en fysisk model af dette på seminariet, mind mig om at den skal findes frem)
Opgaver
Gennemfør de nødvendige beregninger, der ud fra idé 1 viser, at formlen for den konkrete pyramides rumfang er 1/3 hG

Hvor stort er rumfanget af de store pyramider i Egypten? – og hvad vejer de?
Man kan også lave et bevis ud fra det man kan se i den video, der er linket til på startsiden.
Formlen for rumfanget af en kegle er næsten den samme som formlen for pyramidens rumfang. Hvordan kan det være? – og hvad har Cavalieris princip at sige om den sag?
Kan man benytte formlerne til at beregne rumfanget af kegler eller pyramider, der er “skæve”?

I dette værksted skal man prøve kræfter med at beregne rumfang i punkt 2 .

Find ud af, hvilke kompetence-, færdigheds- og vidensområder opgaverne passer ind under.
Regn nogle af opgaverne. Gerne forskellige typer.
Snak i gruppen om, hvilke repræsentationsformer der er til stede i opgaverne, og om man kunne ændre på opgaverne, så de skifter repræsentationsform.
Kapitel 9 – Analytisk geometri
I arbejdet med analytisk geometri (kapitel 9 i geometribogen) er der brug for at differentiere. Nogle af jer vil synes, at arbejdet med bogen er rigelig tungt med symboler. Andre har brug for flere udfordringer – og dem skal de have!

Alle bør have en ide om, hvad man forstår ved et “geometrisk sted” samt kunne følge argumenterne, der giver os en ligning for cirklen.
Alle bør kunne gennemføre undersøgelse 1 på side 166 (eventuelt pånær de to sidste linjer). Måske er der en trykfejl. Ligning 4 bør være x2 + 4x + y2 — 8y — 25 = 0.
Udfordring De to sidste linjer i undersøgelse 1 kræver en god symbolbehandling.
Det er absolut relevant at kunne gennemføre beregningerne i hånden, og man kan få lidt hjælp til udfordringen i filen 1_cirkel – centrum og radius.pdf
Undersøgelse 2 Parabler.
Alle bør have en ide om, hvad man forstår ved et “geometrisk sted” og kunne følge argumenterne, der giver os en ligning for en parabel.
Alle bør kunne benytte CAS som støtte til beregningerne.
Alle bør være fortrolige med begreberne brændpunkt og ledelinje, og have en ide om, hvordan man laver de sidste 8 linjer af undersøgelse 2 på side 164 – 165.

Kapitel 10 – Trigonometri og geometri i det fri
Start med en lille geometrigrubler . I finder den i Fronter. Prøv at lave den i Geogebra.
