tandfonline.com – Ethnographic artificial intelligence

tandfonline.com har udgivet en rapport under søgningen “Teacher Education Mathematics”: ABSTRACT ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence research is seldom conducted ethnographically. Nevertheless, the field itself has a distinctive culture – an engineering imaginary within which ‘general intelligence’ is considered to be a phenomenon that can be both defined and tested by reference to some universal (probably mathematical) standard. This paper describes a research agenda that sets out to question those assumptions, through a programme of ethnographic field work, collaborating with computer scientists and educators in several countries of sub-Saharan Africa. tandfonline.com – Towards the Co-evolution of Food Experience Search Spaces Based on the Design Weltanschauung Model in Food Marketing

tandfonline.com har udgivet en rapport under søgningen “Teacher Education Mathematics”: Abstract Abstract Contemporary socio-technological shifts within global societies indicate that the preferences and values of a converging, well-informed and digitally connected society have shifted towards a movement based on sustainability and healthy and environmentally friendly common values. The effect of artificial intelligence has changed the nature of marketing and communication between firms and markets. Food marketers need to adjust to this new situation and integrate proven interdisciplinary theoretical frameworks, as these approaches can be aligned to address this situation. We address these new developments by introducing the design of the Weltanschauung model, which is based on marketing within the dimensions of designing… Continue Reading

tandfonline.com – Displaced and dismayed: how ICTs are helping refugees and migrants, and how we can do better

tandfonline.com har udgivet en rapport under søgningen “Teacher Education Mathematics”: ABSTRACT ABSTRACT Employing ICT platforms has the potential to improve efforts to assist displaced people, or to liberate them in being more able to help each other, or both. And while platform development has resulted in a patchwork of initiatives – an electronic version of ‘letting a thousand flowers bloom’ – there are patterns emerging as to which flowers grow and have ‘staying power’ as compared to ones that wilt and die. Using a partial application of grounded theory, we analyze 47 platforms, categorizing the services they provide, the functionalities they use, and the extent to which end users are involved in initial design and ongoing modification. We found that 23% offer one-way communication, 72%, provide two-way communication, 74% involve… Continue Reading
