eric.ed.gov har udgivet: Imagine Math® is a standards-aligned, adaptive, interactive online mathematics program designed to supplement in-class instruction for students. This evaluation report examined the fidelity of implementation of Imagine Math® and the associations between its use and student achievement in Houston Independent School District (HISD) secondary schools in the 2018-2019 academic year. Based on teacher results, the research showed that the average levels of adherence to fidelity components were approaching expectations for both middle schools and high schools. At the teacher-level, frequency of use of Imagine Math® by teachers and analysis of the Imagine Math® reports for instructional purposes was low. eric.ed.gov har udgivet: The Center on Standards, Alignment, Instruction, and Learning (C-SAIL), funded by the Institute of Education Sciences, examines how college- and career-readiness (CCR) standards are implemented, if they improve student learning, and what instructional tools measure and support their implementation. This brief presents findings from C-SAIL’s Implementation Study, which uses interview and survey data to explore how district administrators, principals, and teachers are understanding, experiencing, and implementing Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks in English language arts (ELA) and math. C-SAIL examines e how and what kinds of supports are provided to teachers of all students, including students with disabilities (SWDs) and English learners (ELs) who take the general state assessment. In spring 2015, WestEd administered surveys to understand the perspectives on Common Core State Standards-Mathematics (CCSS-M) implementation of teachers and administrators in eight California school districts participating in the Math in Common (MiC) initiative. Over 1,000 respondents replied to the survey, about some of the initial successes and challenges facing California educators attempting to put in place and support new–and what some consider revolutionary–ideas in U.S. mathematics education.
