Gendered Innovations employs methods of sex, gender, and intersectional analysis to overcome past bias and, importantly, to create new knowledge. It seeks to harness the creative power of sex, gender, and intersectional analysis for innovation and discovery. The operative question is: does considering these factors add valuable dimensions to research? Do they take research in new directions?
